The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed concerning the significant variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration sassa Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The services position made for intervention ordeals a high influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it challenging to the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to allow the servicing of all consumers and enhance entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
